What is Norway doing to promote Open Science?
UHR, FFA, Det nasjonale publiseringsutvalget & NIFU held a cooperation seminar on how to achieve quality with Open Access 1st September 2016. We have briefly summarised the seminar in English which is available here.
The topics ranged from Open Access benefits, to the extra costs associated with OA, and publisher monopoly. Proposed solutions to some of the problems were an international subscription service, or even boycott of the big publishers.
